When Life Shatters: Finding Strength in the Broken Places
My dear sisterhood,
Today's post is different. It's raw, it's real, and it's coming straight from my healing heart. On December 10th, my world as I knew it changed forever when I discovered my husband's infidelity. While I had suspicions, having concrete proof felt like a physical blow that knocked the wind out of my lungs.
The Reality of Betrayal
They say the truth sets you free, but they don't tell you how much that freedom can hurt at first. As someone who has built a sisterhood around empowerment and strength, being vulnerable about this feels both terrifying and necessary. You've trusted me with your stories of struggle and triumph; now I'm trusting you with mine.
Where I Am Now
I'm in that space between what was and what will be. Some moments I feel strong, ready to take on the world. Others find me curled up, wondering how I missed the signs or if I could have done something differently. Both reactions are valid. Both are part of healing.
What's Helping Me Survive
My Children: My six beautiful reasons to get up every morning. Their love and need for a strong mother keeps me going.
This Community: Your prayers, support, and kindness remind me I'm not alone.
Professional Help: Because even coaches need coaching sometimes.
My Faith: Finding comfort in prayer and spiritual connection.
My Work: Continuing to serve others helps me maintain purpose.
Moving Forward
I don't have all the answers right now, and that's okay. What I do know is:
I will heal
I will grow stronger
I will use this experience to help others
I will show my children what resilience looks like
To Those Walking a Similar Path
If you're also dealing with betrayal, know that:
Your pain is valid
Your anger is justified
Your healing journey is your own
You are stronger than you know
Looking Ahead
While I navigate this challenging time, I remain committed to our sisterhood and my mission of empowering women. My content may evolve to include more about healing, rebuilding, and finding strength in difficult times, but my core message remains: we are stronger together.
Your Support
Many of you have asked how you can help. Right now, your prayers and understanding are what I need most. As I process this journey, I'll share what feels right, when it feels right.
A Note on Privacy
While I'm choosing to share this part of my journey, some details will remain private out of respect for my children. I trust you understand.
Moving Forward Together
I don't know exactly what the future holds, but I know this: whatever comes next, I choose to face it with grace, dignity, and the incredible support of this community.
Thank you for being part of my journey.
With love and gratitude,
Tammy
